The MHS Bulldog Band 2007-2008
Martinsburg High School has a well-balanced and successful band program.
The
Jazz Ensemble has received a “Superior” rating in every state and national festival
it has attended since 1981, including the “State Honor Band” award in
2000. The
Concert Band has also received consistent “Superior” ratings at state and national
festivals. In addition to the concert and jazz ensembles, Martinsburg High
School
also has a strong marching program, an award-winning Show Choir Band, and
a
very popular basketball Pep Band.
We have recently added a Steel Drum group
to our many ensembles, and we hope to continue to build
that program as well.
