About The Band |
|
|
Martinsburg High School has a well-balanced and successful band program. The Marching Band won 1st place in Group IV
at TOB Chapter Championships in 2010. The Jazz Ensemble has received a “Superior” rating in
every state and national festival it has attended since 1981, including the “State Honor Band” award
in 2010. The Concert Band has also received consistent “Superior” ratings at state and national
festivals. In addition to the Marching, Jazz, and Concert Ensembles, Martinsburg High School also has an
award-winning Show Choir Band, a very popular Pep Band, and a Steel Drum Ensemble.

Martinsburg High School Band in conjunction with other groups from the High School are proud to announce our first MHS Concert Fest.
This years event is being held on Friday June 8, 2012. Concert starts at 6:00PM and gates open at 4:30PM
